What may come as no surprise to everyone... we unfortunately have to postpone this year's ConnectLAB #5 festival. With the Belgian governments regulations as well as the need for social distancing due to Covid-19, it has become impossible to deliver a high quality event for you all. The ConnectLAB team and I are sad that it has come to this but it has become inevitable.
I would like to thank all those involved in the preparations, all the teachers, all the spaces, the production team and all those involved big or small. Your willingness to make a great event is inspiring.
A big thank you to all those who have signed up for the workshops, applied to perform or offered to help out. Unfortunately this year isn't the one, next year we will rise again!
For those who have paid the workshop fee, we will be emailing you all with refund info in the coming days.
We're constantly keeping aware of the evolving situation and are trying to prepare for the rebirth of the festival. We will keep you all updated as the situation progresses.

CONNECTLAB
Each year Ion Tribe organises a series of events, focused entirely on training, improving, refining and simply discovering new partnering skills. Workshops in contemporary dance, circus, Brazillian Jiu-Jitsu and Forro fill the intense week. Each edition the festival gets bigger and more intense, yet always maintaining a humble and chilled vibe, facilitating the best atmosphere to learn efficiently.
UNIQUE TRAINING
The ConnectLAB workshops offer a unique approach to movement training. Full days of workshops in varying disciplines working on similar skills in extremely different methods. A circus artist will play with a ballroom dancer, a contemporary dancer will roll with a Jiu-Jitsu fighter. This crossover leads to a truly unique experience.
HIGH-LEVEL TEACHERS
Each edition, we assemble some of the best artists, performers, athletes and teachers to create a truly unique teaching team. From world-class artists who create and teach, to Brazillian Jiu-Jitsu black belts who compete and teach. A tailor made team, designed to compliment each others styles and disciplines, giving a balanced yet varied schedule of workshops.
