CONNECTING WORLDS PERFORMANCE NIGHT
Open Call for Short Works
We are looking for pieces up to 20mins in length, which fall in line with the ethos of the ConnectLAB festival, to explore and integrate multiple movement disciplines to find commonalities.
We encourage movement artists from various backgrounds (including contemporary dance, circus, social/folk dance, martial arts, improvisation, dance theatre) to apply with their proposed work. We are especially interested in works which either; merge multiple movement disciplines, includes audience interaction/participation, is suited for a non-conventional space.
Alongside this application, video footage of the proposed work must be sent via WeTransfer to connectingworldspn@gmail.com
(We prefer live performance but if the piece is new, rehearsal footage is ok, as long as we get a clear understanding of what the piece will be like.)
Apply by filling out the application form below. Applications sent without the accompanying video will be treated as incomplete.
Unfortunately we cannot cover travel or accommodation costs however a humble 'all-in performance fee' will be provided to cover any expenses incurred.
